Near Field Technology (NFC) was one of the awaited technology about which the Apple users were really excited but Apple surprisingly does not have NFC in I Phone 5. The main reason for not including NFC in IPhone 5 is Apple management thinks that the technology is of no use, because there are already so many payment systems serving the purpose and also NFC does not have the much following as well and users can still pay without NFC. On the other hand online companies are not yet using NFC for accepting payment so this may be a reason that leads to this decision. Ebay administration shared their views about NFC by simply saying “Not for commerce”, and also Apple did not include it because NFC was not solving any current user problem.
The NFC technology is not yet quite familiar to the users and people are comfortable enough to make payment by credit card and Apple feel reluctant to work on engineering this technology to IPhone 5, due to competition Apple have to take every decision quite carefully and after evaluating the costs of this technology against the value and benefit the company decided not to include it. Its emerging technology lots of people are not willing to use it and also if one does not know, how to operate NFC then a chance of its negative use will exist and this is another reason why lots of customers are not willing to shift from credit cards to NFC.
Smartphones who Support NFC:
Still new IPhone 5 is worth having Smartphone with its great design and new specs, but rival companies like Samsung, LG and android operating system are using NFC quite successfully and this is also the reason behind the expectations of Apple users. Companies which are relying on Androids operating system always have much more room for doing experiments cause they don’t have to develop software by themselves and what they can simply do they put a technology in their Smartphone and hope someone will develop the software for them. This is main reason why we see lots of innovations and new things in android operating systems.

We may see NFC and Apple together in IPhone 5S:
Yeah most of us, who really want NFC technology in IPhone, can only expect this to come true in new I Phone 5s, Apple will try to use NFC, cause the don’t want their competitors to step ahead and gain more customers than Apple, lots of I users are hopeful about NFC to be included in IPhone 5s, let’s hope and see.
